Narrabri Shire Town and Rural Garbage Tips.
The Narrabri Garbage Tip
Location
On the Right hand side of the Yarrie Lake Road (Shire Road 29) when travelling from Narrabri to Yarrie Lake. Contact
Any enquiries regarding the tip can be directed to the Community Facilities Manager, Mr Andrew Croft on (02) 6799 6877.
Hours 7.30am to 12.00noon and 2.00pm to 6.30pm (Summer/Daylight Savings)
7.30am to 12.00noon and 1.00pm to 5.30pm (Winter/Non Daylight Savings). |
The tip will be closed Christmas Day.
The Boggabri Garbage Tip
Location
On the right hand side of the Kamilaroi Hwy when driving from Boggabri towards Gunnedah.

Hours 7.30am - 6.30pm (Summer/Daylight Savings)
7.30am - 5.30pm (Winter/Non Daylight Savings). |
The tip will also be locked up at night. Any questions regarding the tip hours should be directed to the Community Facilities Manager, Mr Andrew Croft on (02) 6799 6877.

The Wee Waa Garbage Tip
Location
On the Old Pilliga Rd, outside the levee bank. On the right hand side when travelling from Wee Waa to Pilliga. Contact:Any enquiries regarding the Wee Waa tip can be directed to the Community Facilities Manager, Mr Andrew Croft on (02) 6799 6877. Hours 7.30am-6.30pm (Summer/Daylight Savings)

Rural Garbage Tips
Baan Baa
On the right hand side of the Kamilaroi Hwy when travelling from Baan Baa to Boggabri.
Bellata
On the right hand side of Millie Road when travelling from Bellata. Millie Road is on the left hand side of the Newell Hwy heading from Bellata towards Moree.
Edgeroi
On the right hand side of Shire Road 55, when heading West from Edgeroi.
Gwabegar On the right hand side of Shire Rd 39, heading east from Gwabegar.
PilligaOn the right hand side of the Pilliga-Walgett Rd when travelling West from Pilliga to Walgett. HoursThe rural tips are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Used Machinery Oil
These sites can now accept used machinery oil (NO cooking oil). Please deposit your used machinery oil in the shed provided, in accordance with the directions given at the site. These new waste oil collection facilities were funded as part of the Australian Government Initiative through the Department of Environment and Heritage's Product Stewardship for Oil Programme.
