Application for Rural Address Form

Rural Addressing in Narrabri Shire.

Rural Addressing was implemented by Council at the beginning of the 2005/2006 Financial Year.

Rural Addressing is a collabrative community project administered by the Department of Lands and Local Governments. It is a simple, straightforward means to identify and locate rural properties throughout Australia.

Some properties have multiple residences/work premises on the one site, and have received more than one rural address for each structure. However, it more than possible that Council staff overlooked some dwellings whilst in the field and it is imperitive that the landholder apply to Councl to have an address issued as this aids the emergency services to locate anyone at that location.

An application form for this can be found on the link below.
