 2009/2010 Fees and Charges
Located on the right hand side of the Yarrie Lake Road (Shire Road 29) when travelling from Narrabri towards Yarrie Lake.
Opening hours:
7.30am to 12.00pm and 2.00pm to 6.30pm (Summer/Daylight Savings)
7.30am to 12.00pm and 1.00pm to 5.30pm (Winter/Non Daylight Savings).
The tip will be closed Christmas Day.
Located on the right hand side of the Kamilaroi Highway when driving from Boggabri towards Gunnedah close to the Boggabri Showground.
Opening hours:
7.30am - 6.30pm (Summer/Daylight Savings)
7.30am - 5.30pm (Winter/Non Daylight Savings).
The tip will be closed Christmas Day.
Located on the Old Pilliga Rd, outside the levee bank. On the right hand side when travelling from Wee Waa towards Pilliga.
Opening hours:
7.30am-6.30pm (Summer/Daylight Savings)
7.30am-5.30pm (Winter/Non Daylight Savings).
The waste depot will be closed Christmas Day.
Rural Garbage Tips Baan Baa
On the right hand side of the Kamilaroi Hwy when travelling from Baan Baa to Boggabri.
Bellata
On the right hand side of Millie Road when travelling from Bellata. Millie Road is on the left hand side of the Newell Hwy heading from Bellata towards Moree.
Edgeroi
On the right hand side of Shire Road 55, when heading West from Edgeroi.
Gwabegar
On the right hand side of Shire Rd 39, heading east from Gwabegar.
Pilliga
On the right hand side of the Pilliga-Walgett Rd when travelling West from Pilliga to Walgett.
All rural tips are unmanned and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you notice any problems at any of Council’s rural tips please contact Councils Engineering Services section on (02) 6799 6877.
Used Machinery Oil
All garbage tip sites can now accept used machinery oil (NO cooking oil). Please deposit your used machinery oil in the shed provided, in accordance with the directions given at the site.These new waste oil collection facilities were funded as part of the Australian Government Initiative through the Department of Environment and Heritage's Product Stewardship for Oil Programme.
Recycling
All garbage tips have recycling facilities provided by Challenge Disability Services, Narrabri. Please dispose of your recyclables in the appropriate bins.
