Narrabri Shire’s two High Schools boast excellent facilities and expansive grounds giving their students a inspirational environment in which to learn. Both schools have close knit communities and dedicated teaching staff who strive to encourage students to produce their best results. The High Schools are located in Gibbons Street, Narrabri and Purcell Avenue, Wee Waa.
Many options are offered to senior students to work in partnership with TAFE and local business allowing students to complete TAFE courses and school-based traineeships.

Narrabri Shire School’s have access to Federation Farm — a working cotton farm reusing treated town effluent. The profits gained from the production are donated back to the schools and the facility is open for students to visit.

TAFE Narrabri run courses in business, information technology, engineering trades and agriculture as well as courses by distance education. Narrabri Community College covers everything from Lifesaving to Responsible Service of Alcohol to Dog Obedience courses and a guide to the share market.
