Integrated Planning and Reporting
A new Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework for NSW Local Government was introduced in the Local Government Amendment (Planning and Reporting) Act 2009. These reforms replace the former Management Plan and Social Plan with an integrated framework.
End of Term Report
The following is the report on Council's operations over the previous 4 years (Council term) in relation to the Community Strategic Plan.
The Operational Plan details the activities to be engaged in by the Council during the year. It is a annual sub-plan of the 4 year Delivery Program. The Operational Plan incorporates Council’s Revenue Policy, Proposed Borrowing and Budget.

The Delivery Program details the principal activities to be undertaken by Council to implement strategies established by the Community Strategic Plan. It has four years’ duration.
The Delivery Program Actions were reviewed and amendments adopted at the Ordinary Council Meeting conducted on 16 February, 2016 as per Council Minute Number 36/2016, the revised Actions are included in the document below:
The Resourcing Strategy encompasses Long Term Financial Planning, Workforce Management Planning and Asset Management Planning.
Long Term Financial Planning
Included in the Council’s Resourcing Strategy for the provision of resources required to implement the Community Strategic Plan. Minimum 10 years.
Workforce Management Planning
Included in the Council’s Resourcing Strategy for the provision of resources required to implement the Community Strategic Plan. Minimum 4 years.
Asset Management Planning
Included in the Council’s Resourcing Strategy for the provision of resources required to implement the
Community Strategic Plan. Comprises an Asset Management Strategy and Plan/s. Minimum 10 years.
Community Strategic Plan
The Community Strategic Plan identifies the main priorities and aspirations for the future of the Local Government area. Minimum 10 years.
Community Engagement Strategy
The Community Engagement Strategy is based on social justice principles for engagement with the local community when developing the Community Strategic Plan.
Disability Inclusion Action Plan
The Disbility Inclusion Action Plan sets out the strategies and actions for Council and the community to deliver, to enable people with disability to have greater access to information, services and facilities throughout the Shire.
