Narrabri Shire Council recently put in a submission to the NSW Regional Intermodal Terminal Taskforce enquiry into Intermodal Terminals in Regional NSW.

 Narrabri Shire Intermodal Terminal Submission

An Intermodal Terminal has been identified as crucial infrastructure to take advantage of Inland Rail. Council recently received $300,000 funding to conduct an Inland Rail Optimisation Study to assist with planning for a Logistics and Industrial Hub in Narrabri Shire. This facility proposes access to a rail loop, potable water reticulation, high voltage electricity, high speed fibre optic internet and direct and indirect access to Inland Rail infrastructure.
