Contributions to Special Events Grant January to June 2008 - Now Open

Applications are invited from Community organisations within the Shire to fund events under Narrabri Shire Council’s January to June 2008 Contributions to Special Events Scheme.

These grants relate to special events, activities or organisations that meet the following criteria:

Organisations to be not for profit;
Organisations to be community based;
Not to be a sporting body;
Not to be individuals; and
Organisations to be excluded if they have a self-funding capacity.

Applications are called twice per annum and will be determined by Council. Applicants must fill out the application forms supplied by Council. Council allocates $5,000 to this grant every 6 months. Special Events Grant are provided on at least dollar for dollar basis and projects which obtain funding must occur within the time frame of 1^st January 2008 to 30^th June 2008.

Applications should be received by Narrabri Shire Council prior to 5:00pm Friday 23^rd November 2007.
