Some Helpful Water Saving Tips;                       

• Only water in the coolest part of the day
• Do not water lawns in direct sunlight ( it burns the grass and loses 99% through evaporation)
• Do not cut your lawns too short
• Do not overwater lawns (One good soaking or two light waterings a week will keep your lawn in good condition)
• Remember sprinklers can use up to 1000 litres per hour
• Mulch gardens to prevent drying out
• Install an effective dripper system    
• Divert your evaporative air conditioner water onto the lawn
• Check your water system for leaks
• Re-washer dripping taps
• Use tap timers so sprinklers are not left on by mistake
• Install a dual flush cistern

Pollution Incident Response Management Plan

Industry is now required to report pollution incidents immediately to the EPA, NSW Health, Fire and Rescue NSW, WorkCover NSW and the local Council.
