Violet Street Bridge replacement works

The Violet Street Bridge will be closed from Monday, 19 January to the end of September 2026 for bridge replacement works. A detour will be in place along Selina Street, Newell Highway and Tibbereena Street.

Come and celebrate the International Day of People with Disability 2025 with us! Narrabri Shire Council, in partnership with the Disability Service Providers, is inviting community members to our Board Game Day. There will be lots of fun games and activities, and morning tea!
