Youth Week NSW
Youth Week NSW is a week-long celebration held in early April each year that is organised by young people, for young people, in communities across the state. It is an opportunity for young people to express their ideas and views, act on issues that affect their lives, and create and enjoy activities and events.
If you’re aged between 12 -25, Youth Week is an opportunity to:
Youth Week started as a NSW government initiative in 1989 and became a national event in 2000 as a joint Australian government, state, territory and local government initiative.
Thousands of young people aged 12–25 from across Australia get involved in Youth Week each year.
2022 Youth Week - 'It's up to Youth'
Community Skate Workshop
Narrabri Shire Youth Council will hold a community skate workshop as part of Youth Week celebrations across the Shire. Hosted in collaboration with The Totem Collective, this event provides an opportunity for young people to reconnect as well as develop self-awareness and confidence while having fun. The workshop will be held ?from 10.00am to 1.30 m on Saturday, 23 April 2022 at the Boggabri Skatepark, 81 Wee Waa St. It's free and open to all youth, kids and family!
