Infrastructure upgrade works are set to begin on the Narrabri Creek Bridge and Collins Park roadway area. Works will commence on Monday, 29 April and will take approximately 6 weeks to complete. Please adhere to all signage.
Council wishes to advise residents that the first stage of upgrades to the Wee Waa Multi-Court Sporting Facilities will take place from Tuesday, 16 April until Monday, 29 April. During this time, some restrictions to the area will apply.

Celebrating the theme Count her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress, Council’s International Women’s Day event on 6 March saw a passionate crowd hear from changemakers and leaders.
Held at The Exchange, the sold-out event included four inspirational guest speakers:

Mackenzie Knox - Highest Badged Umpire for Narrabri Netball, NIAS 1st Umpire Athlete and the recipient of the 2023 Breakthrough Umpire Award
Shona Gawel - CEO of Grain Growers
The celebration was emceed by Katie Watson and Ali Smith from the Bush Wanderlust podcast, while Relish Catering provided a delicious three-course meal, with Josephine’s Drinks hosting the night’s bar.
Council would like to thank everyone who helped make the evening such a resounding success, including Council’s Community Development Coordinator Elodie Labonte, The Exchange Sales and Business Development Manager George Gourley, and the remarkable speakers and MCs.
We also thank the community members who attended this year’s International Women’s Day event – with tickets selling out very quickly.
