The Welcome Experience Program

The NSW Government's 'The Welcome Experience' program has expanded to the Narrabri Region. 

The Welcome Experience provides free, personalised support to essential workers and their families who are relocating to regional New South Wales. The program helps newcomers connect with local services, schools, housing options, community groups and social networks to make the move easier and help them feel at home sooner.

New Resident Kit

To support people relocating to Narrabri Shire, Council offers a New Resident Kit designed to help new community members feel welcome and connected.

Each kit includes:

  • Narrabri Region promotional items
  • Information about local services
  • Community and lifestyle resources
  • Details about activities, events and opportunities across the Shire

The New Resident Kit is available to new residents and can also be distributed by local employers and real estate agents to assist staff and tenants relocating to the area.
