Swimming Pools

Narrabri Shire is home to three public swimming pools - Boggabri Memorial, Narrabri Aquatic Centre and Wee Waa Memorial Swimming Pool. Whether you're swimming laps, doing learn to swim or keeping cool, Narrabri Shire Council is committed to providing safe, enjoyable and accessible aquatic facilities all year round.

Bookings

Currently there is no charge for holding an event at the swimming pool. However, for events that require the use of the pool fees for facility hire, lane hire and multipurpose room hire may apply. Only approved clubs and schools are able to hold events at no cost, please refer to Council’s Fees and Charges for further information.

To assist with the availability of the swimming pool, please contact Narrabri Aquatic Centre on 02 6799 6782 and staff will confirm availability for your requested date. You will then be required to complete the All Pools Activity Booking Form and provide relevant copies of insurance, a COVID-safe Plan and Risk Assessment documentation. Completed forms and supporting documentation must be returned to Council at least one month prior to the booking. Your request will then be reviewed and processed by the Facilities Coordinator or Swimming Pool Team Leader and the outcome advised to you. Please note bookings will not be confirmed on the spot or over the phone.
