At its Extraordinary Council Meeting on 2 May 2023, Council resolved to place the draft 2023/2024 Operational Plan and Budget on public exhibition for a period of 28 days.

The draft 2023/2024 Operational Plan and Budget includes the budget for both operational and capital projects, the rates structure and proposed fees and charges for Council facilities and services.

Narrabri Shire Council's Mayor Ron Campbell was very pleased with the proposed actions and works for the incoming financial year.

“The Draft Budget and Plans are critical to our Shire’s future, and I encourage the community to review these documents and let us know if our priorities need amending,” said Mayor Campbell.

Council reviews its Operational Plan and Budget and Delivery Program each year. The document is Council’s commitment to the community on how we will work towards the goals set in the Narrabri Shire 2022/2032 Community Strategic Plan. It details what programs, projects and activities Council will undertake and how we will fund them.

The 2023/2024 Operational Plan and Budget can be viewed online via Council’s website.
