Narrabri Shire to host free youth tennis clinics

Narrabri Shire Council is set to offer free youth tennis clinic in March, thanks to funding from the NSW Office of Sport.

Sponsored by the Office of Sport and coordinated by Council, the clinics in Bellata and Pilliga will provide opportunities for those in rural and remote areas to learn and play tennis, at sporting facilities local to them.

Suitable for those aged 4-18 years and facilitated by professional coach Shane Murphy, the clinics will focus on tennis stroke, hand/eye coordination, footwork, warm-up, and match play.

An alternative washout program may be offered in the event of adverse weather.
