NAIDOC Week is a time for all Australians to come together to celebrate the rich history, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This year, Narrabri Shire Council is proud to be partnering with the Local Aboriginal Land Councils, NDCAS and a number of local community organisations to deliver one united NAIDOC Week celebration for the Narrabri community.
Rather than hosting multiple separate events, this collaborative approach brings everyone together to celebrate as one community. It provides an opportunity to strengthen partnerships, acknowledge the significance of NAIDOC Week, and create a larger, more inclusive celebration for everyone to enjoy.
Enjoy a BBQ, entertainment, face painting, games & activities for kids along with an Elders area.
