Wattle Day

Please join Narrabri Shire Council and Northern Slopes Landcare for a morning tea to celebrate Australia's Annual Wattle Day.

Wattles play a pivotal role in the Australian landscape and have become such an iconic symbol of spring's arrival.

Council's own Deb Bancroft and Alison Young from Landcare will speak on the benefits of having Wattle in the garden.

RSVP is essential for catering purposes, please send your RSVP via email to alison@nsla.net.au

Attendees will also have the opportunity to take home a free wattle, with one given per household.

Join us in celebrating the wonderful biodiversity of our region.
