Local Government Week aims to help move the conversation beyond roads, rates and rubbish to the important and far-reaching role Council plays and its wide range of services.
With this, Narrabri Shire Council invites local community members to come and meet with Councillors, Council Staff and the Narrabri Shire Youth Council Members on Saturday, 5 August 2023, at the Narrabri Rotary Markets.
Residents will be able to learn more about the role of the Council and the varying projects happening across the shire.
Narrabri Shire Mayor Ron Campbell will be on hand at the event, eager to chat with residents.
“I look forward to connecting with residents during Local Government Week. It’s a great opportunity for Council and residents to connect in a laid-back environment,” said Councillor Campbell.
The first 100 people to drop by the Narrabri Shire Council tent will receive a free sausage sizzle and drink from the Narrabri Lions Club.
