Narrabri Shire Council will host a series of community sessions in September as part of its Heritage Study, supported by the NSW Government’s Heritage Grants Program.
Sessions will be held in Narrabri, Boggabri, Wee Waa and Pilliga and will be led by heritage consultant Ray Christison. Each session will include a short presentation, Q&A and the opportunity for one-on-one discussions about potential heritage nominations.
General Manager Eloise Chaplain said community voices are key to the success of the study.
“This is a chance for residents to share their knowledge of places that matter—whether for their history, beauty or memories and help shape how our Shire’s story is told.”
RSVP is preferred via www.narrabri.nsw.gov.au/heritagestudy or by calling Council.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided at each session.
