Narrabri and Moree Plains Shires have partnered to prepare a regional drought resilience plan which is funded by the Federal Future Drought Fund and guided by the Department of Regional NSW. A series of local drop-in sessions and workshops will be held across the Shire in early April. By forward-thinking about our opportunities to mitigate, our Drought Resilience Plan can help identify the steps to minimise drought impacts and maximise our options for better outcomes. The plan will focus on the role of local government in enhancing drought resilience and your thoughts and ideas are critical.
