Narrabri township is on Level 3 water restrictions as of 7pm Friday, 6 March 2026.
The Violet Street Bridge will be closed from Monday, 19 January to the end of September 2026 for bridge replacement works. A detour will be in place along Selina Street, Newell Highway and Tibbereena Street.
Cameron Park is a picturesque spot next to the Narrabri Creek. This park has a disabled toilet block, playground equipment and a boat ramp into the river.
Note: This park is closed during flood events.
