Narrabri township will remain on Level 4 water restrictions, with a temporary sprinkler and splash pad exemption in place from Thursday, 29 January 2026.
The Violet Street Bridge will be closed from Monday, 19 January to the end of September 2026 for bridge replacement works. A detour will be in place along Selina Street, Newell Highway and Tibbereena Street.
Selina Street Park parklands in Selina Street adjoin Cameron Park and has scenic views along the Namoi River. The parklands have several picnic areas and shady spots.
