Narrabri township will remain on Level 4 water restrictions, with a temporary sprinkler and splash pad exemption in place from Thursday, 29 January 2026.
The Violet Street Bridge will be closed from Monday, 19 January to the end of September 2026 for bridge replacement works. A detour will be in place along Selina Street, Newell Highway and Tibbereena Street.
Vickery Park in Boggabri has an amenities block, picnic area, playground equipment, skate park, and an electric BBQ for use by the public.
