Narrabri township is on Level 3 water restrictions as of 7pm Friday, 6 March 2026.
Council's Administration Building will be closed on Monday, 30 March due to Essential Energy works in the area. Staff will be available to assist customers via phone and email.
The Violet Street Bridge will be closed from Monday, 19 January to the end of September 2026 for bridge replacement works. A detour will be in place along Selina Street, Newell Highway and Tibbereena Street.
Polished Silver is an over 50's community group here in Narrabri. Anyone over the age of 50 is welcome to attend, visitors to the area are also most welcome. Open to anyone from the Narrabri Shire and surrounding communities
Each week we have various activities and theme days. Bingo, arts and crafts, good music, games, quizzes ect...., Fun Laughs and Giggles
We meet every Thursday from 10-2pm at 23 Gibbons Street, Narrabri , just opposite the high school. It is FREE to attend and morning tea and lunch is provided. Come say hello :)
