Narrabri township is on Level 3 water restrictions with exemptions made on Friday,1 May 2026
The Violet Street Bridge remains closed until November 2026 for bridge replacement works. A detour is in place along Selina Street, Newell Highway and Tibbereena Street.
Council meetings are held at 5.30pm on the third Wednesday of each month at the Narrabri Shire Council Chambers. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
