As part of a NSW Government bore water screening program, PFAS testing of privately-owned bores within Narrabri will be available at no cost to the owner from Monday, 24 November to Wednesday, 26 November 2025.

The program is open to anyone in the Narrabri township with either a registered or un-registered bore, who wants to participate in the screening program. Participants will receive the results for their bore.

Owners/occupiers will need to be home for the sampling to take place, which will only take around five minutes.

To be part of the program please complete the registration form.

Registrations will be accepted until 12 noon Friday, 21 November 2025.

A reminder that the latest testing results of the Namoi Reservoir have shown PFAS levels as below current guidelines. This means that the Narrabri Town Water Supply continues to be safe for consumption.

More information about PFAS is available from Council's website.
